I believe that this aphorism is pretty self explanatory. First of all I believe that you need to learn how to forgive your self first because it it harder to do. When you forgive others you are realizing that THEY did something wrong and YOU are the one who has to forgive them. When you forgive yourself you are understanding that YOU did something wrong and that it was your fault. I that people have a harder time forgiving themselves then they do other people. When you forgive others you mend that relationship and make it stronger. Forgiveness is a necessity of life. ~Kate~    

 

 

 Brandon- This means to me if you mess something up you never should blame things on yourself you should always forgive yourself if you do something horrible. You should always forgive others if you don't evn like them like if they make a bad rumor I mean you don't have to like them just don't hate them just forgive them.  Marcus-I'm going to use a really life exprience. When i was only 10 i thought it was a little to late to come into the game and play at my friends birthday party so i just sat out for about 10 min.  Then they came over and asked me if i wanted to play so i told them i thought it might of been to late to join but it really is never to late so just go out and have some fun.  Don't waste your time if you are young cause if you do once you get older you can't do as much. 

 

 

If you waste your time just to think something over, then usually in that time you come to realize that you could have already done whatever you where thinking to get involved. So you think it’s even worse because of all the time you have wasted trying in the process then you never do it and regret it at a later time. Also if it is something you know you should do, but ponder it over then you might loose you spunk/courage and never be able to accomplish the “goal” you had set for yourself, which makes you feel like you are incapable of doing things like that in the future. So that is why you should just get out there and get involved. Meyer

I agree with Cole because if you do cling to things, such as his dog, or something, it will not be worth it.  But I don't think that having affection toward a pet is considered an object.  What comes to my mind is something like a video game or a TV set or some possesion that couldn't produce love or any other feelings.  I think what Morrie was saying was to not cling to things that couldn't produce real happiness.  It's ok to cling to a pet or a family member because they can produce love and happiness unlike materealistic objects ---Zack I   

 

I learned that things are impermanent on September 5, 2006. My family and I had just finished dinner when my uncle David called my moms cell phone. He told her that my cousin Jordi had been in a fourwheeler accident. He told she was not good and she should come to the hospital as soon as she could. Not even a minute later when my parents were getting ready to leave my uncle David called back and told my mom that she had passed away. It seemed so unfair because she was only eighteen years old and a senior in high school and she still had her whole life ahead of her. I had to move on but I will always remember her and always love her. ~Taylor

I really like the quote about "love always wins." To me I think it's very true on everything it says, " Life is a series of pulls back and forth. On the quote "you want to do one thing but you are bound to do another", I think it means if you want to change your life style to be better but you are bound to change it, just not the way you wanted to have it. "Life is a series of pulls back and forths" It sounds like its stating that you will always have ups and downs. For example Monday maybe the best day ever for you then Tuesday comes and you just feel horrible. We take alot of things for granted when we shouldn't cause there are people out there that would die to have even half of what we have. "Something hurts you, yet you know it shouldn't" It means to me that if the one person you thought was your true friend hurts you repeatedly but, you know if they were a "true friend" then they shouldn't hurt you like they do. If today was my last day on earth I would go and tell my family how much they mean to me. Then I would got out and start living whats left of my life and live it to the fullest. And I would do things that I never thought was possible or the things that I never had the guts to do and just go for it because it is my last day to live.
