Slavery Pictures

--This is a Slavery Ship. Slave traders went to Africa and took slaves from their home and stuffed on them in these cramped ships. The conditions were horrible, people died every day on the two week trip from Africa to America.

--This was a very sad photo; it represents how the whites thought of blacks. How unequal they saw them.

--I don't know why this man is chained to a stone-like podium. But I think he was either being punished, or there was an auction about to start. Either way, the man looks very unconfortable and very much in pain.

--I think this was a memior. But in those times they'd chain the slaves in those rusty chains, and tug them and force them to walk, even if some where on their last line.
